El Toro Library
G|M Business Interiors was tasked to bring modernity and a refreshed aesthetic to El Toro's new Public Library.
G|M Business Interiors partnered with design and architecture firm IDS Group to design a bright and bold environment for the County of Orange's new El Toro Library located in Lake Forest. Dramatic high wood ceilings add texture and pair with flowing blue hues and a large mountain graphic creating an inviting and nurturing place to explore and thrive. A large pillar in the center of the library includes an inspired structure, acting as a focal point in the space.
The refreshed library offers a variety of in-demand modern amenities and collaborative spaces including lounge areas, study areas, furniture with plug-in technology, public computers, and a children's storytime room.The library also features a full range of traditional collections for all ages, several reading zones for kids, teens, and adults, plus a multipurpose room.
The bright and modern new library includes a variety of furniture and seating options for guests of all ages to enjoy. Mobile furniture was used throughout the space, allowing library staff to adapt the library to suit their guests' needs. The furniture in this project includes a variety of manufacturers such as Herman Miller, National, Leland, and Elevate. Notable furniture pieces include a Herman Miller Ethospace Reception Station, Herman Miller Layout Studio Tables, Herman Miller Caper Chairs, and National Fringe Modular Lounge Seating.
