RiverRock Real Estate Group
G|M Business Interiors furnished the interiors of RiverRock Real Estate Group's new eccentric and modern office space.
Side-by-side with architecture and design firm LPA Design Studios and general contractor C.W. Driver, G|M Business Interiors helped to create a modern, sophisticated and eccentric office environment for RiverRock Real Estate Group's new Irvine headquarters.
RiverRock is a client-centric property and asset management firm that provides superior hands-on management and specialized accounting services for more than 40 million square feet of office, retail, and industrial properties located throughout California and Arizona.
With clients, employees, and stakeholders in mind, RiverRock wanted to create a more flexible and modern environment that would support their new hybrid working model - meeting both form and function. One of their primary objectives was to integrate many unassigned workstations in addition to lockers that could store personal items - allowing employees to work in the office as needed. They also wanted to break from the traditional corporate office with a more modern aesthetic that embraced their unique identity and culture. G|M worked closely with LPA and RiverRock's team to select a variety of furniture, textures, and materials that would bring this vision to life.
This single-story project includes 24 workstations, 20 private offices, 2 conference rooms, a breakroom, a reception area, and several areas for lounging, quiet time, and collaboration. While the general layout was pre-determined, G|M worked closely with the RiverRock team to select furniture that would meet their functional, aesthetic and budgetary needs. The furniture was provided by a variety of manufacturers including Herman Miller, Elevate, OFS, Deskmakers, Industry West, Kardiel, Bernhardt, Sean Woosley, National, Source, and others.
The project was led by G|M Account Executive, Ryan Turnbull. When discussing his favorite aspect of the project, Turnbull noted, "This project was a lot of fun. The end-user was great to work with and I love how the mix of products and finishes created a unique flow and vibe in the space."
