G|M completed a nature-inspired healthcare furniture installation, for a confidential company located in the Torrey Pines, San Diego neighborhood.
This two-floor project took place over the course of a year and included 28 exam rooms, 48 workstations, seven private offices, conference rooms, huddle areas, a waiting room, and a breakroom. The customer is a leader in cancer treatment and prevention, and it was important to them that this space honored and celebrated the hard work that is done in this building.
This project drew inspiration from the Torrey Pines location. The water, natural light, soft colors, and the calming sense of being in nature helped create an inviting atmosphere. G|M Account Executive Amanda Ouellet led this project, in collaboration with design firm FreemanWhite, the contractor, the architect, and the customer.

By combining different product lines and manufacturers, G|M was able to ensure that the project was aesthetically pleasing while meeting all of the functional needs of each room.
This installation happened in phases that began in November 2019 and completed in May 2020. During the install, the global coronavirus pandemic quickly developed, and G|M was challenged with completing this project while keeping safe and healthy a top priority. This required a lot of coordination, including staggering installation and crew members, and ensuring that everyone followed proper protocols such as wearing masks and practicing social distancing. G|M was ultimately able to finish the project on time, and the customer was very happy with the result.
